Clark State Partners with Local Businesses to Offer Manufacturing Conference
Clark State Community College will host the Greater Dayton Additive Manufacturing Leadership Conference on Thursday, August 24.
“Manufacturing is important to our region, and Clark State is a leader in manufacturing training and education,” said Toni Overholser, director of workforce and business solutions for Clark State. “We are pleased to work with the Dayton Region Manufacturers Association, Fastlane and Tangible Solutions to bring this opportunity to local businesses.”
During the conference, attendees will learn from and network with business and manufacturing leaders from multiple industries sharing emerging additive manufacturing trends and best practices.
The conference will feature an industry panel and keynote speaker Greg Morris, additive technologies leader with GE.
“This event will inspire implementation of new technologies, improve processes and present the tools needed to become a leader in additive manufacturing,” said Overholser.
The conference will begin at 8:15 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, 3520 Pentagon Boulevard in Beavercreek, Ohio. Registration is $90 and is open until 5 p.m., Friday, August 18. To register, call Clark State’s Workforce and Business Solution office at (937) 431-7168.
