Members of Cadet / Junior  Girl Scout Troop 30630 from the Honey Creek Service Unit recently stopped by the Clark County SPCA after regular business hours to decorate for Easter.

The girls spent time making and buying bright colored spring decorations to bring some happiness to the shelter while completing service hours which is part of the Girl Scout tradition.

The egg garlands, bunny cutouts and hanging decorations were placed just in time for the first anniversary of the SPCA.  Director Krissi Hawke was thrilled with the decorations and the energy that the young women brought to the project.

Of course there was the opportunity to visit the cat room and the dogs while the scouts were at the shelter.  They vowed to be back to volunteer as needed for other events and opportunities to help the animals who are looking for a forever home.
